Whether we like it or not, AI is becoming an increasingly large part of our lives. That being said, I do use it to assist in my coursework; ChatGPT and Claude even helped me build this site. However, I am always careful to use AI as a tool and nothing more.
ORGANIZATION
AI has transformed the way I stay organized across both my journalism and web design work. When approaching a new story, it helps me build structured outlines, identify potential sources, and prioritize angles, providing a clear roadmap. On the design side, it helps me plan site structure and break large projects into manageable steps.
PROBLEM SOLVING
Whether I'm coding or writing, AI is a massive help when it comes to problem solving. When debugging code, it can pinpoint errors quickly and explain exactly why they're happening. Editing my writing for length, clarity, or style also becomes extremely convenient.
RESEARCH
AI can speed up my research process by quickly analyzing large amounts of information from multiple sources, helping me identify key facts and angles I might otherwise overlook. AI Tools can help me generate interview questions, find background context on a topic, or summarize complex documents in seconds.
